Ministry Overview

Emmanuel's family ministry includes Children's Ministry and Youth Ministry, and focuses on: building Biblical knowledge by using the Gospel Project curriculum, encouraging healthy relationships with teachers, peers, and other families; providing opportunities for service within our community and to our missionary partners.

Our Children's Ministry consists of nursery and Sunday School on Sundays and monthly pre-youth group.

  • We have nursery for children up to two years old.
  • We have Children’s Church for children from two years old through fifth grade on most Sundays.
  • We have Sparks, a pre-youth group ministry for third through fifth graders, once a month.

Children's Ministry:
Nursery: Up to 2 years old (10:15am-12:00pm)
Preschool: 2 - 4 year old (In Service | Children's Church)
Elementary: Kindergarten - 5th grade (In Service | Children's Church)

Youth Ministry:
Junior high and High school (In Service)

Every 4th Sunday, 4th - 5th graders participate in the entire service. Make sure to stop by the registration table on the 4th Sunday  to grab a Children's Bulletin and other activity sheets to be used during service.
Sparks, Emmanuel's pre-youth group for 3rd-5th graders, meets one afternoon per month, October through June, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm.

Children's Ministry Sparks Squad

Monthly, Emmanuel's 3rd-5th grade students gather for some good old fashioned fun... games, lunch, and a lesson through our SPARKS ministry.

Dynamic leaders are committed to engage students in meaningful, biblically based, dialogue on current topics. They are committed to making connections with students and fostering growth in full devotion to Jesus!

SPARKS meets one afternoon per month, October through June, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm.

Communicants Class
This spring, we will offer a course for children whose parents have seen evidence of their faith in Christ and believe that they are ready to receive communion. Contact Angela for more information, and to sign up by January 25. Materials will be distributed on February 8 and 15, and the class will meet monthly through May.
