Youth Ministry

Existing  to serve students and families by teaching and modeling the gospel of grace as we follow the way of Jesus together
Emmanuel's Youth Ministry exists to serve students and families by teaching and modeling the gospel of grace as we follow the way of Jesus together.  We long to be a welcoming, discipling, and equipping place, rooted in the living God.

Teaching Series

The teaching series this winter is called "All Things New." Let’s face it: the book of Revelation is daunting. Dragons, scrolls, and beasts make this final chapter in scripture intimidating but within its pages we find Jesus in his beauty at the center. This spring, join us for a series in Revelation looking at the design patterns which point us back to Genesis, forward to the seconding coming, and give us wisdom for our current moment.

I’m excited to announce our second annual fall retreat at Lake Anna, VA at a great property on the water. Join us for fellowship, teaching, good food and spike ball on the beach! There will be a van leaving from Emmanuel's office Friday evening, Sept. 22nd returning early Sunday afternoon, September 24th. The cost will be $75 per student. If the cost prohibitive, please reach out as scholarships are available.

Spots are limited to 18-20 students (6th-12th grade)  so please RSVP soon.

Youth Group

Every other Sunday from 12:30-2:00pm, the youth group will meet in Rivendell's gym with appropriate social distance and ventilation for a short time of teaching and then break out into mentor groups. Mentor groups will meet outside. Lunch will be provided for students and mentors. We can’t wait to see what God does in this next season!

Drop Off: 12:30pm outside of Rivendell's gym
Pick Up: 2:00pm in Rivendell's gym
