Inclement Weather
Update for Sunday, January 19
Hello Emmanuel,
As you know, Arlington is currently under a Winter Weather Advisory. Some forecasts are saying that snow will start around 7:00 AM and will peak from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and another forecast says that snow won't pick up until after 1:00 PM. All forecasts, however, are saying that the accumulation amount will be closer to 3 inches by the afternoon, thus potentially affecting people's return home.
With these projections in mind, we will still have Sunday service but it will be shortened and we will not have any programming so that the volunteers who are uncomfortable with traveling will have the option to stay home. Thus, we will not have children's ministry and nursery. We will cancel the Project Belong presentation and the seminar after service, and we will also ask that Small Groups not meet.
As we always do, service will be live streamed. Again, we are still having in-person worship, but it will be shortened and streamlined.
