Marissa graduated from Virginia Tech with a BS in Biological Sciences where she was a volunteer Young Life leader, working with middle school students. After graduation, she traveled to China with Young Life international as a University teacher, ministering to college students.  After coming back to the states, she worked at the University of Valley Forge, where she met her husband, Devante. They enjoy exploring new food, going to the beach and spending time with friends and family. Marissa is passionate about caring for Youth Students, learning about new cultures and facilitating connections within her community.
